How is a HydraFacial Done?
CLEANSE + PEEL
Using our first skin solution, ACTIV-4, and our disposable blue, orange or purple HydroPeel tip, we begin to reveal a new layer of skin by using a mechanical and chemical exfoliation. This first step helps to deeply cleanse the skin while loosening dead skin cells and softening the sebum for extractions. For our light peel, we use GLYSAL, which is a gentle chemical exfoliation of 7.5% glycolic and 2 % salicylic acid. Glycolic acid brightens and hydrates, while salicylic acid softens the sebum and eliminates oil.
EXTRACT + HYDRATE
Using the disposable teal HydroPeel tip and BETA-HD, to help dislodge debris from the pores with painless suction and nourish the skin with intense moisture. BETA-HD is a multi-action skin solution formulated for congested skin consisting of salicylic acid to exfoliate, honey extract to hydrate and spiraea ulmaria flower extract to calm and soothe.
FUSE + PROTECT
The last and final step, we use ANTIOX+ and the disposable clear HydroPeel tip. ANTIOX+ is an advanced antioxidant skin solution enriched with peptides and hyaluronic acid for all skin types. Here, we slowly saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants like red algae to even the skin tone and green tea extract, copper peptides and hyaluronic acid to combat fine lines and wrinkles and improve hydration to maximize your glow.

It cannot be done on someone taking Accutane.

Is HydraFacial Safe?
The HydraFacial overall is a safe treatment, as long as it is performed by a licensed and experienced esthetician. All of our estheticians have their NYS esthetic license and have been trained and certified by HydraFacial.
Beware: You'll want to make sure you're getting an actual HydraFacial device treatment. Beware that sometimes spas and skin studios use an unregulated replica version, called a "HydroFacial" or other related names. Or, some businesses may even promote their service as a HydraFacial when it is not. These other replica devices may not be safe. For those who get a HydroFacial or falsely promoted "HydraFacial" treatment with a replica device, you'll be sure you won't be getting the same clinical-grade patented technology for best results.
How do I make sure I'm getting an actual HydraFacial Treatment?
Simply ask your esthetician at your spa or skin studio if they carry a HydraFacial brand device. Another way to verify is to look at the machine before your treatment. You'll see the name brand "HydraFacial" with an "a" in "Hydra", on the device.
HydraFacial is actually the copyrighted name of a medical-grade device with patented technology to improve the skin. This device is rigorously tested for medical grade use and proven to be a safe treatment.
What to expect post-treatment
Generally, clients go about their day as normal. Ones with more sensitive skin may be flushed or blotchy for up to 24 hours. Skin post HydraFacial is typically hydrated and glowing, with a more even complexion immediately after treatment. We recommend having a HydraFacial 48-72 hours prior to an event. Skin purging may occur post treatment, due to active ingredients in the skin solutions.
While our dermabrasion treatment typically has the same steps as a HydraFacial, this treatment is an aggressive exfoliation and resurfacing treatment for someone who is oily or congested with thicker skin.
A chemical peel is an advanced exfoliation treatment, designed to safely resurface the skin while promoting a healthy and youthful complexion. Our peels include enzymatic to superficial, and require little to no downtime. Peels are great for acne, congestion, fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots and more. A series is recommended for maximum benefits.
Also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally-invasive treatment with minimal downtime that is safe on all skin types. Microneedling creates micro-injuries to the skin, promoting collagen and elastin production to treat pore size, tone and texture, acne scarring, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines and wrinkles. A series of microneedling treatments is recommended for maximum benefits.

"I get facials monthly and love anything skincare and I have to say my facial at Chateau Glow was incredible. My skin has been glowing for days. I highly recommend the Hydra Facial. Truly such an amazing experience. I will definitely be going back again and couldn't recommend her more!"
"I've always wanted to try a hydrafacial before and when I saw a spot opened up in my neighborhood I had to stop in! Gina was fantastic. She was so sweet, and my skin is GLOWING! I can't wait to come back and try something new :)"
"This place recently opened and I decided to stop by for a facial about two weeks ago. Definitely a good decision on my part. The decor here is so welcoming, bright, clean, and modern. The facial was great as well. I did a hydrafacial with a hydrojelly mask. The experience was extremely relaxing and therapeutic. My face felt amazing afterwards also. Can't wait to treat myself to this experience again."
